Northeast Illinois Shoreline Restoration Project Awarded APWA Project Of The Year
Great Lakes Lining supplied a number of products to this shoreline restoration project in Northeastern Illinois. This stream segment has been an area with documented flooding, heavy erosion, and poor water quality. This project restored nearly 1,400 linear feet of stream bank and wetland corridor. With the use of our gabion baskets, erosion control blankets, and geotextile this project was a huge success and was awarded the project of the year for APWA!
